Terms of service.

Our Terms of Service Policies intend to ensure quality, safety, and consistency in our work. By using the services of 504 Clean Dat LLC, you agree to abide by the following policies and procedures: 

Privacy Policy 

We are committed to keeping your information confidential. We do not sell, rent, or lease our customer lists to third parties, and we will not provide your personal information to any third-party individual, government agency, or company at any time unless compelled to do so by law. We will use your personal and billing information solely to provide the service you hire us for. 

Satisfaction Guarantee 

If any expectations of service are left unmet, let us know within 48 hours. We will come out and re-clean (within a 7-day window) free of charge. 

Security 

We take the security of your home very seriously and work with each homeowner to establish a routine for entering and exiting. Current methods include, but are not limited to:

• Letting the crew in on the day of service 

• Providing a lockbox, keypad, or garage code

• Leaving a key in a safe place to use and return 

Referrals 

We love referrals and appreciate it when you tell friends and neighbors about our service. When you refer us to a client, after three months of recurring service, we will donate to a local charity in your name! Thank you for placing your trust in us! 

Cleaning Time

We do our best to be prompt and meet your scheduled cleaning time, but traffic and other customers can affect our schedule. If your cleaning crew is more than 30 minutes late, we will contact you. Services are performed between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. if no arrival time is specified. Please allow for an open time frame rather than an exact arrival time. We appreciate your flexibility. 

Payment of Services

Payment is due on the day of service through our client hub

Late Fee

Please note that we may charge a $10/day fee until your invoice is paid in full. 

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Because we are reserving a time specifically for you, please make any changes to your schedule as soon as possible. If you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning appointment, a minimum of 48 business hours’ notice is required. If you cancel your appointment within less than 48 hours of service, or if the crew is unable to enter your home, we may charge a $75 cancellation fee. We must strictly adhere to this policy in order to avoid lost wages for our crew.

We will give consideration on a case-by-case basis to late schedule changes due to unexpected circumstances beyond your control.

During hurricane season, 504 Clean Dat will abide by the Jefferson and Orleans Parish closure and delay decisions. 

Electricity and Water Notice 

We cannot work effectively in a house without electricity or running water. Please ensure that your home - especially if it is empty and in the middle of being sold/bought/turned over - will have electricity and running water on the day of service. Late Cancellation/Rescheduling fees may apply if we need to make last-minute schedule changes due to a lack of electricity or water. 

Getting Ready for Your Cleaning 

Please understand that your time of arrival is an estimate. We will notify you when we are on the way. Make sure pets are secured. There is no need to “clean” before we arrive; however, we ask you to “pick up.” Ex: clear the floors of clothing and toys, surfaces of small items, pens, coins, important documents, etc. Please move any large furniture out that you would like cleaned behind. Do not worry about countertop appliances and small pieces of furniture - we move and clean those as we go. Please make sure your home is between 68-74 degrees. If you want your bed linens changed, please strip beds and have clean linens placed on the beds. These allow us to focus more on detail and quality for you.

The Setting 

The ideal cleaning situation is when no one is home. Since that is not always possible, please eliminate as many distractions as possible so we can work uninterrupted. Please do not schedule other workers/repair people at the same time. Try to schedule your cleaning on a day when there will be fewer people at home. Please secure pets and keep children in another area, as we are working with equipment and products that may not be safe for pets or children. 

Trash Disposal

We are required to leave all collected trash in the property dumpster. We cannot take trash with us. 

Pets 

We love them! The last thing we want to do is upset your pets while cleaning. We will work with you to make the experience pleasant for everyone. Below is our policy regarding pets: 

- Let us know if you have arrangements for your pets while we are cleaning. 

- For sanitary reasons, we do not clean up after sick pets or pet accidents.

- Please secure any pet that may be overwhelmed by our presence and, or pose a threat.

- Please secure any pet that may attempt to run out the door and escape the house.

The client is responsible for the control and care of all animals on the premises. 504 Clean Dat, LLC is not responsible for the escape or safety of pets. 

Products 

Most of our products are environmentally friendly and non-toxic for the safety of you, your family, and our crew. We will occasionally use a stronger product if needed. We never cross-contaminate; we have special tools for bathrooms and kitchens.  

Breakage/Damage

We hate it when breakage happens and do our best to prevent it. The following is critical regarding our breakage policy: 

Sometimes breakage occurs when there are "booby traps". These are accidents waiting to happen (pictures not hung securely, top-heavy items with unstable bases, wobbly, tippy items). Incidents are reviewed case by case. We cannot take responsibility for booby traps. 

Please move unstable breakables, expensive figurines, or glassware to an area we do not clean or have us skip that area altogether if you do not wish to accept the risk. 

We are NOT responsible for damage due to misuse and, or improper installation of any item. All surfaces (Ex. marble, granite, hardwood floors, etc.) are assumed to be sealed and ready to be cleaned without damage. Furniture on wood floors is assumed to be properly protected. 

We will cover the cost of repairing or replacing items when the value is verifiable. In some cases, we will have the damaged item repaired by a professional restoration company. Values must be verified before replacement or reimbursement will be authorized. Please retain the damaged item for our inspection. Breakage or damage must be reported within three days of service.

Special Policies and Service Limitations 

1. Our crew will not climb higher than the company's two-step ladder. 

2. We are not a restoration company and cannot perform certain services due to insurance and safety concerns. In order to be as transparent and informative as possible, some of the things we do not offer include but are not limited to

- Removal of light fixtures 

- Removal of shower door seals 

- Disassembly of furniture for cleaning 

- Disassembling any appliances (except oven racks and refrigerator shelves) 

- Lifting or moving heavy furniture over 15 pounds

- Lift or move large, fragile objects 

- Remove stubborn stains from furniture, floors, cabinets, carpets, etc.

- Steam cleaning

- Washing walls 

- Cleaning grease traps

3. We are not an extermination or mold/biohazard remediation company and cannot provide services in residences that show signs of hazardous situations. We reserve the right to refuse to clean (or immediately stop cleaning) if there is evidence of the following problems, and we must charge our lockout fee of 50% of the scheduled cleaning. Below is not an exhaustive list:

- Insect infestation - cockroaches, bed bugs, fleas, etc. 

- Animal infestation - birds, mice, rats, bats, etc. 

- Excessive/uncontrolled mold growth 

- Human waste, blood, and body fluids 

- Hoarding

- Other hazardous situations

Insurance 

504 Clean Dat, LLC and all employees are covered by up to $300,000 in General Liability insurance. Fraudulent claims will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. 

Pricing 

Estimates are based on the information you provide. If, at the time of service, your home does not reflect the information you provided at the time of booking, your estimate may be subject to change. 

Prices are a fixed rate for recurring services. We assume a similar level of organization and setup during each visit. If there are changes in the amount of work or clutter to be handled, we will contact you and reevaluate our prices as needed. 

Small Requests 

All small requests, add-ons, or exchanges must be added to your appointment through the Client Hub or direct communication to ensure that we can provide the service requested and that the crews are prepared with enough time and the right supplies to complete the request.
